The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are in third place after round one of the NCAA Palm Beach Gardens Regional at PGA National in Florida.
The Irish are four-over for the tournament and hold a one shot lead over fourth place Davidson, and are just two shots behind second place South Florida.
Vanderbilt is in first place at three-under.
On the individual side, former Rhode Island Amateur champion Davis Chatfield is in a tie for tenth after round one after posting a two-over par in the first round.
2019 RI Amateur Champ Andrew O’Leary sits in a tie for 73rd after posting an 84 on day one.
