Vinny Papa Scores Top 10 Finish in AJGA Debut

Propelled by a second round 74, Rhode Island’s Vinny Papa snagged a top ten finish in her first American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Tournament this weekend in Webster, New York.
Papa finished 14-over par for the 36-hole tournament, just one shot out of a tie for third.

Her second round 74 was ten strokes better than her opening round.
Next up, Papa will be at Worcester Country Club on Thursday attempting to qualify for the U.S. Women’s Open.
Papa’s 2nd Round
Papa opened her second round in the best way possible, a birdie on the first hole.
She then bogeyed the sixth hole to turn at even par 36.
One the back side, she added bogeys on the 14th and 18th holes to shoot 74.
