Barrington Wins Hendricken Invitational

Battling a ton of wind, the Barrington Eagles took home the trophy in the Bishop Hendricken Invitational on Monday afternoon at Warwick Country Club. 

The Eagles posted a team score of 321 to beat Moses Brown and La Salle by four shots. 

The tournament also consisted of some of the top teams from Massachusetts and New York, making the win even more impressive.

The Eagles were led by Cole Vieira who posted a 76, including an impressive chip in birdie on the ninth hole. 

Ryan Ricci and Sean Bonneau finished with 79 and 82 respectively. 

Individual Titles 

On the boys side, Iona Prep’sDiego Ocasio won the boys individual title with a score of five-over par. 

The closest Rhode Island finisher was Barrington’s Cole Vieira, who finished second amongst boys at seven-over par. 

On the girls side, Moses Brown’s Kylie Eaton won it at six-over par. 

La Salle’s Olivia Williams finished second in the girls division at eight over.
