URI Golf Finishes 6th at A-10 Championship

The University of Rhode Island Golf team finished in sixth place at the A-10 Tournament this week at Reunion Resort – Watson Course in Florida.
The Rams were one shot off the lead after the first round, but scores of 290 and 294 over the next two days sent them down the leaderboard.

Rhode Island finished five-year for the tournament and tied with Dayton for sixth place.

The Rams were led by Bryson Richards, who finished the tournament in a tie for 14th place.
Richards posted a final round 73, but made four bogeys in the final seven holes to slide down the leaderboard.
Brandon Gillis and Austin Fox finishes in a tie for 17th in the tournament.
Fox started the final round in contention for the individual title, but a Sunday 76 took him out of it.
Jordan Brajcich and Andrew DiPetrillo finished 23rd and 52nd respectively.
