Leopold Finishes 50th at George Coleman Invitational
Rhode Island’s Bobby Leopold finished 50th at the prestigious George Coleman Invitational at the super exclusive Seminole Golf Club down in Florida on Saturday.
Over the three days, Leopold finished 25-over for the tournament including rounds of 82, 81 and a final round of 78.
Stewart Hagestad won the tournament with a score of even par, while former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo finished in a tie for 23rd.
Leopold’s Final Round
After opening with a bogey, the defending Rhode Island Amateur champion eagled the third hole, but gave it right back with a double on the fourth hole.
He then bogeyed the fifth and sixth hole, before birding the seventh hole.
Leopold closed the front nine with a double on the ninth hole.
Making the turn, Leopold bogeyed the 13th hole, birdied the 14th hole and doubled the 16th hole to shoot 78.
