Louisville, Notre Dame Miss Match Play Cut at ACC Championship

In a bit of a shocking turn of events, both Louisville (Chris Francoeur) and Notre Dame (Davis Chatfield, Andrew O’Leary) have missed the match play cut at the ACC Championship at Shark’’s Tooth Golf Course in Florida this week.

Both teams will now await their NCAA Tournament futures when the brackets are announced on May 4 at 4 p.m.

On paper, both teams should feel good about getting in, especially Notre Dame, though missing the cut at the ACC Championship certainly makes things a little more interesting.
