Paik, Florio in 6th, Columbia Leads Ivy League Championship After 1st Round

Rhode Island’s Allison Paik and Alexis Florio are both tie for sixth after the first round of the Ivy League Championship at The Ridge at Back Brook in New Jersey.
The Columbia Lions are eight over after the first round and lead the tournament by four shots over Princeton.

The Ivy League Championship concludes on Sunday.
Florio’s 1st Round
Starting on one, Florio birdied the second hole, but doubled the eighth hole to turn at one-over 37.
On the back side, she dropped another birdie on the 16th hole, but bogeyed the 17th hole to post 74.
Paik’s 1st Round
While Florio’s 74 was relatively straight forward, Paik’s 74 was a bit more of an adventure.
She bogeyed the second and third holes, then made another bogey on the sixth hole.
Paik bounced back with a birdie on the seventh hole before making another bogey on the ninth hole to turn at 39.
On the back side, the former Wheeler star birdied the 11th hole, bogeyed the 16th hole and birdied the 17th hole to shoot 74.
