Bryant Freshman Cael Kohen Wins Dave Adamonis Sr Players Championship
Bryant freshman Cael Kohan posted a two-under par score over two days to win the Dave Adamonis Sr Players Championship on Friday at Point Judith Country Club.
Kohan posted rounds of 71 and 69 to beat Kevin Blaser by two shots.
URI commit Aidan O’Donovan finished third, beating out both current Rhody stars Brandon Gillis and Bryson Richards.
La Salle phenom Max Jackson finished 13th at 11-over par.
Kohan’s Final Round
Starting the day a couple of the lead, Kohen opened the round with bogeys on the second and fourth hole to go to two over on the day.
From there, he bounced back.
Kohen made birdie on the sixth and eighth holes to turn at 35.
On the back side, he birdied the 14th hole and 18th hole to shoot 69 and seal the victory.
Next up, Kohen will look to help Bryant win the NEC Championship.
