Alpine to Open Front 9 on Saturday
Alpine Country Club is set to open in full for its members on Saturday.
The front nine of the course had been closed for the last couple of weeks due to a tree removal project that started back in December, as GolfNewsRI reported.
The club also posted the project on social media.
On Tuesday, Alpine was supposed to host the final round of the Challenge Cup Championship before it was canceled due to rain.
Players were going to play the back nine twice to complete the 36-hole tournament.
Later this summer, Alpine will host the New England Amateur.
