O’Leary Takes 14th, Chatfield 36th at Augusta Haskins Award Invite

Rhode Island’s Andrew O’Leary finished in a tie for 14th, while Davis Chatfield finished 36th at the Augusta Haskins Invite on Sunday afternoon in Augusta, Georgia.
O’Leary posted a three-under 213 for the tournament, while Chatfield finished five-over.

Meanwhile, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish finished in fourth place in the tournament, 35 shots back of first place Texas.
O’Leary’s Final Round
After two rounds of 72, O’Leary saved his best for last in the final round – a 69.
Starting on the first hole, O’Leary birdied the second hole and then birdied the ninth hole to turn at 2-under.
On the back side, he bogeyed the 12th hole, but recovered with birdies on the 13th and 15th holes to shoot 69.
Chatfield’s Final Round
After a second round 71 that boosted him up the leaderboard, the former RI Amateur Champ posted a 77 in the final round.
He opened with a bogey on the first hole, and another on the fifth hole.
He birdied the ninth hole to turn at 37.
On the back side, Chatfield bogeyed the tenth hole, but then took a nine on the par-5 17th hole to send him, and Notre Dame down the leaderboard.
Chatfield bounced back with a birdie on the 18th hole to shoot 77.
