URI Golf in 2nd After Round 1 of Hartford Invitational
The University of Rhode Island Golf team is in second place after round one of the Hartford Invitational at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Connecticut.
The Rams are nine-over as a team and trail Fairfield by eight shots heading into Sunday’s final round.
URI has won each of their last two tournaments.
Leading Rhody
The Rams are led by Jordan Brajcich, who is two-under for the tournament and in second place overall.
Bryson Richards and Austin Fox are tied for 8th at three-over par and Brandon Gillis is in 19th at five-over par.
Jack Tegan rounds out the URI lineup in a tie for 27th.
