Addy Douglas Finishes 14th at Prospect Bay Intercollegiate
Newport’s Addy Douglas finished in a tie for 14th at the Prospect Bay Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay Country Club in Maryland on Sunday.
Douglas posted 21-over par (237) in the three round tournament to finished tied with two other players.
Meanwhile, Fairfield finished in ninth as a team, well behind first place Dartmouth.
Douglas’ Final Round
After rounds of 81 and 79, Douglas saved her best round for last.
Starting on one, Douglas saved par on the first two holes, before bogeying the third hole and birding the fourth hole.
She then bogeyed the sixth hole to turn at 37.
On the back side, Douglas bogeyed 10, 11 and 12, before birding 13.
She finished with bogey on 15 and 18 to shoot 77.
