Support the Burke Fund During #401Gives
Friday, April 1 marks the United Way of Rhode Island’s #401Gives Day.
A great way to take part in the day for golfers is to donate to the Burke Fund.
“401Gives is happening NOW, and we are asking you to join us in our efforts to make this the most awesome day of giving Rhode Island has ever seen,” writes the Burke Fund on social media.
The Burke Fund, through its scholarship program encourages youngsters to succeed in personal work ethic, academic achievement and contributions to their schools and to their communities Four year scholarships are offered to college-bound students who have worked in the golf operations, course maintenance operations or in the clubhouse directly serving golfers.
According to the Burke Fund, all donations will go right to the class of 2022.
