RI PGA President Nick Maresca Named Head Pro at Glocester CC

Longtime Kirkbrae assistant pro Nick Maresca has been named the new head pro at Glocester Country Club.
Maresca, who also serves as the President of the RI PGA, will start at Glocester next week.
“This was not an easy decision to make and I understand it comes at a very inopportune time for the club as the golf season is upon us, but it is a necessary move to advance my career in this business,” said Maresca in a statement.

This will be Maresca’s first Head Pro job in his career.
“ I look forward to this new chapter in my life and I’m extremely excited. I will definitely miss the (Kirkbrae) members but I’m looking forward to creating some new relationships,” said Maresca.
It has been a big year already for Maresca, who was elected President of the RI PGA, and named Assistant Pro of the Year in Rhode Island.
In 2021, Maresca won an award for Youth Player Development from the NEPGA.
Maresca tells GolfNewsRI that he will no longer serve as the Head Golf Coach at Lincoln High School.
