URI Golf Wins Battle at Rum Pointe for 2nd straight Victory

The University of Rhode Island (URI) golf team earned a victory on Sunday at the Battle at Rum Pointe in Maryland.

The win is Rhode Island’s second straight.

“I said yesterday that the toughest team would win and we proved that. After 12 holes we were up by just three shots but over the next four holes our guys made two eagles and six birdies. It was remarkable to be a part of,” said URI Head Coach Gregg Burke after the match.
