Francoeur Tied 60th After Day 1 of General Hackler Championship

Former URI star Chris Francoeur sits in a tie for 60th after day one of the General Hackler Championship at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club down in Florida.
Day one action was suspended due to darkness in the midst of the second 18 holes of the day.

Meanwhile, Francoeur’s new team, the Louisville Cardinals sit in 10th place with a team score of 12-over.
Francoeur’s Day 1
Starting the first round on hole number one, Francoeur bogeyed the third, fifth and seventh holes to turn at 39.
On the back side, he dropped birdie putts on the 13th hole, bogeyed the 15th hole and birdied the 16th hole to post a first round 74.
He is through 13 holes in round two and is currently three-over par for the day with a bogey on the second hole and a double on the seventh hole.
