Bryant Golf Takes 5th at SHU Spring Invitational

The Bryant University golf team finished in fifth place this weekend at the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational at LPGA International down in Florida.
The Bulldogs posted a team score of 36-over par (612) for two days to finish 21 shots back of first place Sacred Heart.

In the second round, the Bulldogs were led by Nick Piersall, who posted a 74 with birdies on the first and 11th holes.
Jack Woods carded a 75 with birdies on the seventh and 14th holes, and Tyler Hahn fired a 79.
Overall, it was Hahn who had the low finish, taking a tie for 7th place in the tournament, with Woods taking ninth.
Next Up
The Bulldogs return to action on Friday, March 18 with day one of the Carpetbagger Classic in Maryland.
After that, Bryant is off until early April.
