Bryant Sits in 4th After Opening Round of SHU Spring Invitational

In their first tournament of the spring season, the Bryant University golf team sits in fourth place after round one of the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational at LPGA International in Florida.
The Bulldogs posted a team score of 13-over par in the opening round, two shots out of third and 13 shots behind the leader, Sacred Heart.

The Bulldogs were led by Tyler Hahn who posted a two-under par 70 and is in third place for the individual portion of the tournament.
Hahn opened with a birdie on the third hole, then bogeyed the seventh hole to turn at even par.
On the back side, Hahn birdied the 14th and 15th holes to shoot 2-under.
Bryant’s Jack Woods posted 75 in the first round, while Nick Piersall posted a first round 78.
Piersall was hurt by a triple-bogey on the 18th hole.
