Patrick Welch Named Big 12 Golfer of the Month
Rhode Island’s Patrick Welch has been named Co-Big 12 Golfer of the Month, the league announced on Thursday.
This comes after Welch rattled off back-to-back top ten finishes over the last couple of weeks, including a victory at the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
Prior to that, Welch posted a school record 62 in the Puerto Rico Classic where he ended up finished sixth.

The Sooners will look to make it four straight victories March 18-19 when they travel to Tucson, Ariz., for the Men’s NIT.
Oklahoma finished as the runner-up at the 2021 NIT.
