RI’s Gilbane Jr., Tom Ryan Playing in Exclusive Seminole Pro-Member
Rhode Island’s Thomas Gilbane Jr, Chairman of Gilbane Building Company, and CVS’ Tom Ryan will be playing in Monday’s super exclusive Seminole Pro-Member tournament down in Florida at Seminole Country Club.
Gilbane will be playing with former Northeast Amateur Champion and Massachusetts native Peter Uihlein.
Ryan will be playing with Rhode Island’s Brad Faxon.
They will tee off at 8:47 a.m. off the tenth tee at Seminole alongside recent PGA Tour winner Sepp Straka and Billy Butcher.
Faxon and Ryan go off at 1:40 p.m.
Tom Jr. has been the Chairman of Gilbane Building Company since 2016.
Ryan served as the CEO of CVS Caremark from 1998 to 2011.
URI’s Ryan Center is named after him.
Loaded Field at Seminole
Gilbane and Ryan will be surrounded by a who’s who of celebrities and professional golfers.
The Seminole field includes the likes of pro golfers Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Tommy Fleetwood, Adam Scott, Shane Lowry, Ian Poulter, Louis Oosthuizen, Jon Rahm, Patrick Cantlay, Keegan Bradley, Bubba Watson, Kevin Kisner, Sergio Garcia, Jessica and Nelly Korda, Karrie Webb, Brad Faxon, and several others.
What is a bit sad is that this tournament, essentially a member-guest, has a better field than the Honda Classic.
