Workday, Heineken/Amstel Drop Phil Mickelson
The list of sponsors that are choosing to separate themselves from Phil Mickelson is continuing to grow.
On Friday, Workday announced that they are cutting ties with Mickelson following his apology to the Saudis on Tuesday.
“At this time, Workday and Phil Mickelson have mutually and amicably agreed to not renew our brand sponsorship that ends this March. We want to thank Phil for his great contributions as a Workday ambassador, both on and off the course. And we continue to wish him and his family all the best.” A Workday spokesperson said in a statement given to Golf Digest.
Mickelson had been with Workday since 2017.
On Wednesday, Heineken/Amstel announced that they are also dropping Phil Mickelson.
“We made the decision to go our separate ways and end Amstel Light’s partnership with Phil Mickelson,” the spokesperson told Golf Digest “We wish him all the best.”
This of course all comes after KPMG dropped Mickelson on Tuesday.
