KPMG, Phil Mickelson “Mutually Agree” to End Relationship
Phil Mickelson and his longtime sponsor KPMG have ended their relationship, according to the company.
“KPMG U.S. and Phil Mickelson have mutually agreed to end our sponsorship effective immediately. We wish him the best,” the company said in a statement.
Mickelson has already been wiped from the golf portion of the KPMG website.
This just piles on to what has already become a bit of a firestorm surrounding one of the greatest golfers to ever play.
Earlier on Tuesday, Mickelson issued an apology to the Saudis for comments he made last week.
