Andrade Finishes 24th at Chubb Classic, Quigley 38th
Rhode Island’s Billy Andrade and Brett Quigley both finished inside the top 40 in this weekend’s Chubb Classic on the PGA Champions Tour.
Andrade finished in a tie for 24th with a tournament score of 2-under par, while Quigley finished in a tie for 38th at 1-over par.
Bernhard Langer won the tournament at 16-under par.
Meanwhile, Brad Faxon finished in a tie for 64th.
After a first round 79, Faxon climbed the leaderboard each of the next two days with rounds of 72 and 74.
Andrade’s Final Round
Andrade opened the round with bogeys on two of the first three holes, then bogeyed the sixth hole to turn a three-over 75.
On the backside, Andrade birdied the 10th hole, but gave it right back with a bogey on the 11th hole.
He closed the round by bogeying the 17th hole and closing with a birdie on 18 to shoot 75.
Quigley’s Final Round
After opening with four straight pars to start the round, Quigley bogeyed the fifth hole, but bounced back with birdies on the sixth and with holes to turn at one-under 35.
On the back side, Quigley bogeyed the 10th hole, and birdied the 11th hole before parring out to shoot 71.
