Niemann Holds on to Win Genesis Invitational at Famed Riviera
Joaquin Niemann held off Cameron Young and Collin Morikawa to win the Genesis Invitational at famed Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California on Sunday.
Niemann finished with a four-round score of 19-under par to win by two shots over Young and Morikawa.
“This weekend felt like a month, but I’m so happy it is finally done. I’m proud of the way we battled,’ Niemann told CBS immediately following his round.
He was one birdie short of tying the tournament scoring record.
It is Niemann’s second career PGA Tour win.
