Billy Andrade Tied 14th After Round 2 of Chubb Classic

Rhode Island’s Billy Andrade sits in a tie for 14th place after round two of the Chubb Classic on the PGA Champions Tour.
After a second-round 70, Andrade is five-under for the tournament and is tied with Brandt Jobe, Lee Janzen and Paul Stankowski.

Bernhard Langer is leads the tournament at 12-under.
Other Rhode Islanders in the tournament include Brett Quigley, who is tied for 48th and Brad Faxon who is tied for 67th.
Andrade’s 2nd Round
After opening with three straight pars, Andrade bogeyed the fourth hole, but bounced back with two birdies on the fifth and sixth hole.
Andrade dropped a shot on the seventh hole with a bogey, but got it back on nine to turn at 35.
Starting the second nine, Andrade birdied the tenth hole, then notched another birdie on the 12th hole before parring 13 and 14.
Andrade birdied the 15th hole, but closed with a double-bogey on 18 to shoot 70.
Quigley’s 2nd Round
Starting the round in a tie for 44th, Quigley opened with a par on the first hole, but then doubled the second hole to go to two over on the round.
He made a bogey on the fifth hole, before rallying with three straight birdies on six, seven and eight.
However, he closed with a bogey on nine to turn at one-over 37.
On the back side, Quigley bogeyed the tenth hole, then made seven straight pars before closing with a birdie on the 18th hole to shoot 73.
