Furman University Dedicates Training Facility to Brad Faxon

Furman University in South Carolina dedicated is training facility to Rhode Island’s Brad Faxon.
Faxon played his college golf at Furman before jumping to the PGA Tour.
“Great day at @furmanuniversity for the dedication of the Davis & Faxon Training Facility. The new facility looks amazing! I got to see my golf Coach, Willie Miller and watched ceremonial first shots by Ana Morgan and Jack Crosby,” Faxon said in an Instagram post.

Faxon at Furman
Brad Faxon was a two-time All-American (1982, 1983).
He played on the 1983 Walker Cup team and won the Haskins Award for the most outstanding collegiate golfer in the United States in 1983.
Faxon also received that same year’s Golf Magazine and NCAA Coaches’ Awards as the nation’s outstanding amateur golfer.
