Quigley Finishes 8th at Mitsubishi Electric Championship
Rhode Island’s Brett Quigley finished in a tie for 8th place at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship on Saturday afternoon in Hawaii.
After shooting 67 and 66 in the first two rounds, Quigley slid backwards on Saturday with a round of 71 to finish 8th.
Miguel Angel Jimenez won the tournament with a score of 17-under.
Quigley’s Final Round
Quigley got off to a great start, making two birdies in his first four holes to keep up with the leaders.
However, from there, things got rocky.
Quigley would. Bogey three of his final five holes, with another birdie in-between to turn at 36.
On the back side, Quigley birdied the 10th and 14th holes, before closing with a bogey on 16.
