Quigley 1 Shot Back After Round 2 of Mitsubishi Electric Championship
Rhode Island’s Brett Quigley is just one shot off the lead heading into the final round of the PGA Tour Champions Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hawaii.
Quigley fired a second-round 66 and is in a tie for fourth place, one shot behind leaders Ernie Els and Vijay Singh.
The third and final round of the tournament is Saturday.
Quigley’s 2nd Round
Quigley opened the round with birdies on two of the first three holes.
He parred out the rest of the way to turn at 34.
On the back side, Quigley got a huge boost with an eagle on the par-5 10th hole to get to four-under on the day.
Quigley birdied the 13th and 14th holes and parred out the rest of the way to post 66.
