Kirkbrae’s Maresca Elected President of Rhode Island PGA

Kirkbrae Country Club Assistant Pro Nick Maresca was elected President of the NEPGA – Rhode Island Chapter, the NEPGA announced Thursday in their annual report.
Maresca succeeds Shane Drury as President of the RI Chapter.
“It’s an honor to be elected President of the RI Chapter of the PGA. I’m excited to represent our Chapter members and I look forward to a fantastic 2022 golf season,” Maresca said in a statement to GolfNewsRI.
He will serve a two-year term after running unopposed.

The election took place in October.

About Maresca
Maresca is not only the Assistant pro at Kirkbrae, he also coaches the club’s Junior League team and holds numerous clinics per week.
In 2021, Maresca won an award for Youth Player Development from the NEPGA.
“Working with the juniors at Kirkbrae is certainly one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Nothing is better than seeing our juniors advance though our instructions programs and become competitive golfers (and champions) in our club tournaments,” Maresca told GolfNewsRI at the time.
Maresca also is the golf coach at Lincoln High School.
