Florio Tied 35th at South Atlantic Women’s Amateur
Cranston’s Alexis Florio sits in a tie for 35th after the second round of the South Atlantic Women’s Amateur at Oceanside Country Club in Florida.
Florio carded a second round 76 to move up the leaderboard after landing outside the top 50 following round one.
Meanwhile, RI’s Allison Paik posted a second-round 84 to fall back into a tie for 62nd.

Florio’s 2nd Round
Florio opened her second round with a birdie on the first hole.
After that, she made bogeys on the fourth, sixth and seventh holes to turn at 38.
On the back side, Florio bogeyed the 12th and 13th holes before parring out to post 76.
Paik’s 2nd Round
Paik was okay early on, making three bogeys on the front nine to turn at 39.
However, the back nine was a bit of an adventure.
After saving par on the 10th hole, Paik doubled the 11th hole, before making three straight bogeys on 13-15.
She closed the round with back-to-back double-bogeys to shoot 84.
