O’Donovan Climbs Leaderboard at Junior Orange Bowl Championship

University of Rhode Island Golf commit Aiden O’Donovan climbed 12 spots during the third round of the Junior Orange Bowl Championship on Wednesday at Biltmore Golf Course in Florida.
Entering the day in a tie for 43rd, O’Donovan fired a 71 to climb into a tie for 31st heading into Thursday’s final round.
The 71 is O’Donovan’s lowest score of the week to this point.
Meanwhile, Massachusetts’ native John Broderick sits in a tie for 6th.
O’Donovan’s 3rd Round
O’Donovan opened the round with three straight pars, before making back-to-back birdies on the fourth and fifth holes to get to two-under par on the day.
He dropped another birdie putt on the 8th hole to turn at three-under.
However, things were not as smooth on the back side.
O’Donovan made bogeys on the 10th and 12th holes, before getting one back with a birdie on the 15th hole.
The soon-to-be URI freshman closed the round with a double-bogey on the 17th hole to shoot 71.
