Chatfield Tied 27th at Patriot All-America Tournament
Davis Chatfield fired a two-under 68 to climb the leaderboard during the second round of the Patriot All-America Tournament at the Wigwam in Arizona.
After round two, Chatfield sits in a tie for 27th at 2-under par overall.
Meanwhile, former URI star Chris Francoeur slid down the leaderboard after posting a second round 73.
Francoeur is currently in a tie for 48th for the tournament.
Chatfield’s 2nd Round
Chatfield parred every hole on the front nine to turn at even par (35).
On the back side, Chatfield saved par on the first five holes before dropping a birdie on the 15th hole and another birdie on 18 to shoot 68.
Francoeur’s 2nd Round
After a first round 68, Francoeur opened the second round with bogeys on two of the first three holes to slide down the leaderboard.
The Louisville star made birdie on nine, but gave it back on the 11th hole.
Francoeur birdied the 12th hole, but a costly double-bogey on 18 sent him down the leaderboard.
