Button Hole Helps Over 1K Youth in 2021, 50% Received Scholarships
While the game of golf has certainly changed over the years, one thing that has remained a constant is Button Hole.
In 2021, the Providence-based golf learning center helped over 1,000 local kids learn the game of golf, with 50% of the receiving scholarships.
“Despite the ongoing pandemic, 2021 was a wonderful year for Button Hole. The game and facility provided a safe environment to help overcome the isolation which many kids have experienced during the past twenty months. Button Hole remains focused on making golf “affordable and accessible” for everyone to enjoy,” writes Button Hole in a press release.
In the 21 years of its existence, Button Hole has helped over 25K local youth learn the game of golf and life’s values that go along with it.
According to Button Hole, in 2021, play on the course and driving range increased by 40%.
That would be in line with the National Golf Foundation’s report earlier this month that golf rounds increased by nearly 25 million in 2021.
