Eaton Finishes 27th, Jackson 35th at Doral Jr. Classic

Moses Brown star Kylie Eaton was Rhode Island’s highest finisher at the Doral Jr. Classic this week in Miami, finishing the tournament in a tie for 27th.
On the boys side, La Salle star Max Jackson fired a final round 76 to finish in a tie for 35th.
Kylie Eaton finished with a score of 25-over par (241).
The three-time defending Kirkbrae club champion posted rounds of 79, 83 and 79 to finish in a tie with Amelia Ruiz of Chile.

Boys Tournament
After a first round 81 put Jackson right near the cut line, the La Salle phenom bounced back with rounds of 78 and 76 to finish 35th, ahead of his Rhode Island counterparts.
Jackson was 19-over for the tournament and finished tied with Kevin Rodriguez of the Dominican Republic.
Wakefield’s Rocco Biafore finished in a tie for 40th after rounds of 80, 79 and 78 to finish 21-over.
Meanwhile, Hendricken’s Brady Williams closed the tournament with a round of 83 to drop back into a tie for 44th.
