Team Woods Comes up Short, Team Daly Wins PNC Championship
In his much anticipated return to competitive golf, Tiger Woods and his son Charlie came up just short at the PNC Championship on Sunday afternoon in Florida.
The tournament was won by John Daly and his son John Daly II at 27-under par, while Tiger and Charlie finished at 25-under.
Playing well ahead of the Dalys, Team Woods made birdie on 17 to tie for the lead with one hole to go.
However, the Dalys birdied the 16th hole to take a one shot lead, and save par on 17 to maintain the lead.
Team Woods had a birdie look on the 18th hole, but both Tiger and Charlie missed the putt.
Prior to that, Team Woods had birdied 11 straight holes to get into contention.
It is unclear when we will see Tiger Woods again.
