MA Open Champion Labritz Earns PGA Champions Tour Card
Defending Massachusetts Open Champion Rob Labritz earned his PGA Tour Champions Card on Friday afternoon, winning the final stage of Champions Tour Q-School.
Labritz won the 2021 Mass Open, and also won the 2019 Rhode Island Open.
In Q-School, Labritz posted a four-round score of 267 (17-under) to win Q-School by three shots over David Branshaw and Thongchai Jaidee.
He opened with a first round 65, followed it up with rounds of 71, 67 and a final round 64.
Labritz has been a club pro for about three-decades.
He finally broke through this week.
