Golf Channel Alters Coverage Plan for PNC Championship
Within minutes of Tiger Woods announcing that he was going to play in the PNC Championship along with his son Charlie, Golf Channel altered its coverage plan.
Golf Channel’s original plan was to show the tournament mostly on tape delay, with just a short window of live coverage.
Now, the new plan is to take the entire tournament live on Golf Channel and then on NBC.
