Bobby Leopold Named RI Men’s Player of Year
For the sixth time in his illustrious amateur career, Bobby Leopold has been named the RI Men’s Player of the Year, the Rhode Island Golf Association announced on Monday.
Leopold won his third Rhode Island Amateur title earlier this summer, beating Andrew O’Leary at Kirkbrae Country Club.
Following that, Leopold finished in a tie for 3rd at the Rhode Island Stroke Play Championship at Alpine, and a tie for 15th at the New England Amateur.
At the New England Amateur, Leopold held the lead after the first round.
