Quigley Finishes T7 at Charles Schwab Cup Championship

Rhode Island’s Brett Quigley finished in a tie for 7th place at the Charles Schwab Cup Championship on Sunday afternoon in Phoenix, Arizona.
Quigley posted a four-round score of 269 to finish seventh with several other players at 15-under par, four shots back of tournament winner Phil Mickelson.

Quigley fired back-to-back 67s, a third round 69 and a final round 66 to climb inside the top ten.
Bernhard Langer won the season-long Charles Schwab Cup at 64 years old.
Quigley’s Final Round
Needing to go low to have a chance, Quigley opened the tournament with three birdies in his first seven holes to get to three-under for the day.
A bogey at eight would set him back, but he would turn at 34.
On the back side, Quigley dropped a birdie putt on the 11th hole, another on the 14th hole and then one 17.
He wasn’t able to birdie the par-5 18th and finished with a score of 66.
