Viktor Hovland Repeats as Champ at Mayakoba
Viktor Hovland closed with a 4-under par 67 to win the World Wide Technology Championship on Sunday afternoon at Mayakoba.
Hovland won the tournament by four shots over Carlos Ortiz.
“I wish I could putt like I did today more often. It was just a blast all week,” said Hovland in his post round interview.
This is Hovland’s second straight win at this tournament after he won last year with a clutch birdie putt on the final hole.
Hovland finished a 23-under for the tournament, and now moves to number ten in the world.
