Triggs Wraps up Tournament Season with ABCD
Triggs Memorial wrapped up their tournament season with an Appreciation Day and the ABCD.
Like at most courses around the state on Saturday, tee times were delayed due to frost.
The team of Bob Degnan, Bob Xavier, Rich Pitrone and Steve Scandariato combined to shoot a two best ball total of 152 to win low gross honors.
Second low gross (154) was recorded by the foursome of Peter McBride, Peter Hallas, Joe Lovett and Dan Chaika.
First low net of 131 was captured by Mike Douillette, George Soukatos, Joe Park and Lou Riquinha.
Second low net went to John McIntyre, Ed Allcock and Ernie D’Angelis (136).
Third net was won by Bud Chatfield, Harry Edmonds, Dan Rounds and Allen Price (138).
There was a tie for fourth net (139), between the teams of Alex Maratta, Roland Sneed, John Hearn, Bill L’Europa and Rick Badessa, Dave Deverell, Ron Price and Jordain Ribeiro.

Closest to the pin winners: Bob Degnan (4), John McIntyre (7), Bob Degnan (12) and Joe Lovett (14).
There were several skins winners, including an eagle by Doug Corsetti on hole #13.
Lou Federico (10), John McIntyre (3), Ken Mernick (17), Alex Maratta (9), Mike Douillette (6) and Peter McBride (11) all garnered skins with birdies.
