New Indoor Golf Facility Opens in East Greenwich
With simulator season fast approaching, a brand new indoor golf facility has opened in East Greenwich.
Shanks Clubhouse opened on October 29 and is located at 5700 Post Road.
Shanks joins a list of Rhode Island Indoor golf facilities that includes Rhode Island Indoor Golf in East Providence, Newport Indoor Golf in Portsmouth, V Golf in Cranston, and X-Golf in Lincoln.
About Shanks
Shanks consists of three simulator bays and one private one.
“State of the art uneekor camera based simulators. We have found that camera based is superior to radar based simulators when hitting indoors. Our simulators can capture your 300 yard drive just as well as a six inch chip shot from the fringe,” writes Shanks on their website.
The simulators feature thousands of courses from all over the world, including some local ones.
Shanks is a BYOB establishment, and all their food comes from the Waysider Restaurant next door.
