New England High School Golf Championships Underway at Mohegan Sun
The annual New England Interscholastic Boys & Girls Golf Championships are underway at Mohegan Sun Golf course in Connecticut.
It is a one day event and features some of the top high school players across New England.
Tee times started at 8 a.m. and go till about 10:30 a.m. for both the boys and girls division.
RI Girls
Representing Rhode Island high schools in the girls division include Smithfield’s Ava Morin, Bay View’s Katherine Waldorf, Pilgrim’s Grace Schneck, Cranston West’s Victoria Minicucci and Tiverton’s Cassie Tabor.
Also on the girls side is Smithfield’s Samantha Tinsley, Bay View’s Morgan McLeod and Moses Brown star Kylie Eaton.
RI Boys
On the boys side, Nick Emery is representing St. Rays, East Greenwich’s Cam Warrener and Ryan Marantonio are in the field as well.
South Kingstown’s James Banks, Hendricken’s Brady Williams and Andrew Chadwick and Burrillville’s Cam DeSante.
Rounding out the Rhode Island boys is Toll Gate’s Ryan Dacey, Barrington’s Cole Viera and Narragansett’s Sebastian Carlsson.
