Addy Douglas Finishes 42nd in Rain Shortened Lehigh Invitational

Newport’s Addy Douglas finished in a tie for 42nd at a rain shortened Lehigh Invitational on Monday at Saucon Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania.
The tournament was supposed to end on Tuesday, but the second round was canceled due to weather.

Douglas posted a 14-over par 86 in the first and only round of the tournament to finish 42nd.
Meanwhile, Fairfield finished in fifth place out of 11 teams with a score of 35-over par.
Fairleigh Dickinson won the tournament with a team score of 17-over par.
This was Fairfield’s last tournament of the fall season.
Douglas’ Round
Douglas opened the round with a bogey on the first hole, before making back-to-back doubles on the second and third holes.
She got a birdie putt to go on the 5th hole, but closed the first nine with bogeys on 8 and 9 to turn at 42.
On the back side, Douglas made double on the par-5 10th hole, and then triple on the 12th hole.
She closed with three straight bogeys on 15,16 and 17 to shoot 86.
