Ed Kirby Finishes 63rd at Senior PGA Professional Championship

Aquidneck Club’s Ed Kirby finished in a tie for 63rd this week at the Senior PGA Professional Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Kirby posted a four round score of 291 (4-over) to finish in a tie for 63rd with five other players.
Kirby took him a prize of $1,325.00.

Georgia’s Paul Claxton finished in first and took home $26,000.00.
Kirby’s Week
Kirby got off to a great start, firing a first round score of 68 to put himself in the mix.
However, things got away form him a little bit after posting a second round 77.
The Rhode Island Golf legend closed out the weekend with back-to-back rounds of 73 to post 291.
Kirby was just three shots out of a top-50 finish.
