Welch Drops 4 Spots in Latest PGA Tour University Rankings

Rhode Island’s Patrick Welch dropped four spots in the latest PGA Tour University rankings released on Wednesday.
Welch is now ranked 32nd overall, one point behind Pepperdine’s Derek Hitchner and just ahead of Clemson’s Kyle Cottam.
The drop comes after Welch finished 70th at last week’s Colonial Invitational.

The top 15 players at the end of the college golf season get an exemption onto one of the PGA Mini-Tours.
The top five in the rankings go straight to the Korn Ferry Tour.
Oklahoma returns to action in two weeks at the East Lake Cup.
Chatfield & O’Leary
Davis Chatfield moved up two spots in this week’s rankings.
Chatfield is now ranked 83rd overall, just percentage points behind Stanford’s Nate Menon.
Meanwhile, Andrew O’Leary dropped five spots this week to 109th overall.
Notre Dame closes out their fall season next week at the Stephens Cup.
