Welch Moves up 1 Spot in Latest PGA Tour University Rankings

Patrick Welch has moved up one spot in the latest PGA Tour University rankings released on Wednesday.
Welch is now ranked 28th overall this week, despite finishing 70th in his last tournament.
He is ranked behind Tennessee’s Hunter Wolcott and ahead of Clemson’s Kyle Cottam.

The top 15 players at the end of the season get automatic bids onto one of the PGA Tour’s mini-tours.
The top five players go to the Korn Ferry Tour.
Oklahoma returns to action on October 11 in the Big 12 Match Play Championship.
Other Rhode Islanders in Rankings
Two other Rhode Islanders in the rankings include Davis Chatfield and Andrew O’Leary.
Chatfield dropped four spots and is now ranked 85th overall.
He is coming off a top 8 finish in the Fighting Irish Classic.
Andrew O’Leary dropped one spot this week and is now ranked 104th overall.
