Chatfield & O’Leary Struggle, Notre Dame Finishes 3rd at Windon Memorial
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish finished in third place at the Windon Memorial Tournament this week at Lake Shore Country Club in Illinois.
However, Rhode Islanders’ Davis Chatfield and Andrew O’Leary struggled in the tournament.
In the final round, Chatfield climbed ten spots to finish in a tie for 30th at one-over par.
Meanwhile, O’Leary dropped 31 spots in the second round to finish in a tie for 38th at two-over par.
O’Leary enters the final round in a tie for fifth place, before posting a five-over round on Tuesday.
As a team, Notre Dame finished nine-under for the tournament.
Nine shots behind first place Kansas.
Notre Dame returns to action on Monday, October 4 for the Fighting Irish Classic.
