Francoeur Finishes 8th, Louisville 3rd at Tucker Intercollegiate
Chris Francoeur finished in 8th place while the Louisville Cardinals finished third at The Tucker Intercollegiate on Saturday afternoon in New Mexico.
Francoeur posted a three round score of four-under par (212) to finish in solo 8th, just a couple of shots out of second place.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals posted a team score of 8-under in the final day to launch themselves up the leaderboard and into solo third.
Brigham Young won the tournament at 23-under par.
Francoeur’s Final Round
Starting on the seventh hole, Francoeur bogeyed the eighth hole before making the turn.
After pars on the first four holes, Francoeur made birdies at 14 and 15, a bogey on 16 and another birdie at 18 to shoot 34 on the back nine.
He parred out the rest of the way on the front to post a one-under 71 for the day.
