Florio, Paik Finish Inside Top 20 at BC Intercollegiate 

Rhode Island’s Alexis Florio and Allison Paik finished inside the top 20 at this week’s Boston College Intercollegiate at Blue Hill Country Club. 

Florio finished in solo seventh, while Paik finished in a tie for 16th in the tournament. 

As a team, Columbia University finished fifth in the tournament, 20 shots behind first place Yale.

The third Rhode Islander in the field is Newport’s Addy Douglas. 

She climbed ten spots in the final round to finish in a tie for 52nd. 

Meanwhile, her Fairfield Stags finished 14th out of 15 teams.

Florio’s Tournament

The Cranston native finished six-over par for the tournament. 

She posted rounds of 77, 70 and 75 to shoot 222 over three days, just two shots out of second place. 

Paik’s Tournament

In her collegiate debut, Paik posted back-to-back rounds of 76, before firing a final round 75 to post a three-day score of 227. 

Paik’s final round consisted of three bogeys and a double, however, she closed by birding two of the final three holes to move up the leaderboard. 

Douglas’ Tournament

The Newport native finished 25-over par (241) for the tournament, with rounds of 84, 80 and 77. 

The final round 77 helped her climb ten spots in the standings to finish in a tie for 52nd.
